Way to unlock the quest: Automatically, after you find the Shadow Lord of Madness.

The den of the Shadow Lord of Madness is in the deadlands, in the Eastern part of Tacarigua (point 15 on the map) and, still along your way to the monster, you need to watch out for the strong beasts that are occupying deadlands, including Minions, Skeletons, Golems, Grave Spiders and Hellhounds. After you reach the den of the Shadow Lord of Madness eliminate the Hellhounds that accompany him and, only then, focus on him. Try to remain in constant movement and wait for opportunities to land well-aimed blows in melee. Examine the Shadow Lord's corpse after you win the fight and collect the Raw Black Heart).
