How to unlock this quest: Speak to Griffith.
Quest Giver: Griffith (map location 9)
You can find Griffith in the small camp located toward the southeast direction of the port town (map location 9). During your conversation with Griffith he will tell you that he was banished from the town and he will ask you to help him get some of his stuff which he left behind.
At first I recommend to get to the tavern located in the port town (map location 6). After you will get there you need to speak with the bartender named Spencer and ask him about the Pirate's Purse which belongs to Griffith. You may now receive this item in one of three ways:
- Pay Spencer 150 gold pieces for the purse.
- Steal the purse from Spencer. You will need to use the Pickpocketing ability on at least level 50.
- Convince Spencer to give you the purse back. You will need to use the Silver Tongue ability at least on level 40.
The second item belonging to Griffith is a sword named Elegant Epee. This item is hidden in the storeroom in the building which you can find in the port town (map location 9a). You can get inside this building by using the door located near the main square. The storeroom is not protected so you can take the sword without any problems.
The last item you are looking for is the Heavy Package and it is definitely the most difficult one to find. You need to get to the warehouse located in the port town (map location 3). The Heavy Package is not on the ground floor nor on the highest floor which you can get by the stairs. You have to get to the seemingly inaccessible middle floor instead and to do so you need to use the scroll of Parrot Flight. You can cast this spell in two places:
- near the south wall of the warehouse (screenshot 1) - fly to the hole in the building's wall
- on the ground floor of the warehouse (screenshot 2) - stay under the hole in the roof.
Apart of which way did you choose you should be able to get to the middle floor of the warehouse. Explore this floor to locate the Heavy Package (you will receive 100 Glory Points). Now you can go back to Edward and deliver him items he was looking for. You can be rewarded in a few ways. The most beneficial one is to let Edward to keep all of his items which will result in two bonus Souls. If you prefer to get your reward you will get really nothing special instead of Souls.
Notice! During your last meeting with Edward you can provoke him to start a fight with you if you will push him to give you a better reward. If you will beat him you will receive 300 Glory Points and you will lose few Souls as well, nevertheless you will not receive any new item from that.
Rewards for completing this quest:
- 200 Glory Points
- 300 Glory Points (only if you have beaten Edward)
- 10 gold pieces and the Cheap Liquor (only if you asked for your reward or you have beaten Edward)
