How to unlock: Talk to Bones (after joining one of the main factions)

Quest giver: Bones

Bones will warn the hero about renegade pirates' plan of attack

You can start this quest short after receiving the "Pirate Alliance" quest from Admiral Alvarez and joining one of the main factions. Bones will automatically initiate a conversation with the hero and inform him about Morgan's plan of attack. The battle will take place the next time you use your ship (no matter the destination) and you will have to complete this mission.

Quickly defeat the pirate

When the fight starts, you will gain control over the Nameless Hero and you should focus ONLY on quickly killing the pirate who placed an explosive barrel on your ship, during the cut-scene. Use the best attacks you have, as it is important to eliminate him quickly.

Approach the barrel and take it

After killing the pirate, run towards the Gunpowder Bomb as fast as you can, take it and throw it overboard. You have to make it before it explodes.

Perform strong attacks to quickly eliminate the pirates

Next, you will have to deal with two groups of pirates. The first one consists of two enemies and the second one of three of them. It is best to use strong attacks, because the key to success is to finish each fight very quickly. Like before, you have to get rid of a Gunpowder Bomb after eliminating your enemies.

Watch out for Morgan's strong attacks

After getting on the enemy's ship, eliminate the next group of pirates (you don't need to hurry this time). At the end, you will be facing Captain Morgan. He fights very well with a sword, so you have to stay on the move, perform dodges and parry. Don't let Morgan block you in a corner or some narrow passage and weaken him gradually. Defeating Morgan (100 glory points) will end the quest and you will take command over renegade pirates.
