The Decoy | Side Quests - Skull Island

The way to unlock the quest: Talk to Bruce.

Quest giver: Bruce (point 3 on the map)

You can find Bruce in the canyon in the Eastern part of the Skull Island (point 3 on the map). During the conversation with the slow Demon Hunter, you will learn that he plans on hunting down a Shadow Lord and you will have the option to travel with him to the monster's den.

You can ask Jaffar to be the decoy

Bruce suggests, during the conversation that the chances of finding the Shadow Lord rise if a gnome is used as a decoy. If you have signed Jaffar on (the "Sign Jaffar On" crew quest), you can now find him in the central camp (point 1 on the map) and ask him to join you for the hunt. However, it is not necessary to do that and you can take to finding the Shadow Lord immediately.

Start attacking the Shadow Lord

Follow Bruce, listen to several conversations, along your path and eliminate the monsters in the canyon. After several moments, you will fall into a trap (point 3a on the map) even if you Jaffar asked to join you. Attack the Shadow Lord of Deceit, remember to remain in constant movement, dodge and use the strongest attacks. After you have defeated the Shadow Lord, examine the corpse and collect the Raw Black Heart. Talk to Bruce for the last time to complete this quest.
