Way to unlock the quest: Talk to Severin.

Quest giver: Severin (point 5 on the map)

Inquisitor Severin can be found near the mountainous path in the Northern part of the map (point 5 on the map). During the conversation with Severin, you will learn that he is a deserter. You will offer to help the man eliminate ten shadows (monsters) staying around. Confirm that you are ready to start and follow Severin.

Note - Severin also tells you that there is a crystal portal in the Northern part of the isle. You can see to destroying it later on. To learn more about this, see the chapter entitled Miscellaneous quests, in the walkthrough for the "The Realm of the Shadows" quest.

Note - Severin may die as a result of your decisions taken during "Death to the Deserters".

In total, you need to defeat 10 monsters

The main objective of this quest are 10 Menacing Minions. They attempt a fight at short range so, dodge or keep them at a distance. For defeating each one of them, you will be rewarded with 100 glory points. Apart from the minions, you should also watch out for the other monsters, e.g. Hellhounds and for Black Ghouls. It is entirely optional to eliminate them. After you have dealt with all of the minions, talk to Severin again, to conclude this quest.

Rewards for completing the quest:

• 150 gold pieces
