Way to unlock the quest: Talk to Eldric.

You need to go and find the spot for the ritual

You can unlock this quest after you have progressed to the third chapter of the game's story line so, after you have started the "The Spirit Ritual" main quest. From druid Eldric (point 2 on the map), you learn that the ritual needs to be performed at the correct spot that is isolated from the rest of the world thanks to magic and that it is you that need to find such a spot. The location that you are looking for is on Kila and this is where you need to get.
