Seafood | Side Quests - Calador Risen 3 Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
How to unlock the quest: Through conversation with Glen.
Quest giver: Glen (point 3 on the map).
Meet with a fisherman called Glen, located in the village (point 3 on the map). During the conversation you will learn about the problem of monsters lurking on the nearby beach, which make the fishing a lot more difficult. Offer your help in the beasts extinction.
Note - there's a chance that you've killed all of the monsters before you even started your conversation with Glen and accepted the quest. In that case, after the conversation ends, speak with Glen again and claim your reward.
Leave the village and start your hunt on the shore located to the South of it (points 3a on the map). First, you will probably stumble upon a two Curious Water Lizards. You have to be careful, as those monsters are moving and attacking swiftly, dealing a substantial amount of damage in the process. Rely on your dodges and try to parry the attacks, or you can just focus on a ranged combat. For each Lizard slain you will be getting 100 Glory Points, as well additional 100 Glory Points for killing both of them.
A little further away there are two more enemies - Curious Monitor Wizards, which are the bigger version of the previous foe. Try to attack those beats one by one. Use the fact that they are way slower, and try to launch some charged attacks at them. It's more important to do so, because those monsters are quite durable. Each slain Lizard will give you 200 Glory Points, as well as additional 100 Glory Points for killing both of them.
You can now go back to Glen and inform him about securing the beach. The fisherman will give you a choice for your reward. It's worth to refuse any reward at all, as you will get a two Soul points for doing that, as well as 150 Glory Points. If you are a materialist and can't live without a physical reward, you can choose between 100 gold and 10 Raw Fishes (the fishes may come in handy if you want to do a side quest called "The Long March").
Rewards for completing the quest:
- 150 Glory Points (if you refused to claim your reward)
- 100 Gold (if you selected gold as a reward)
- 10 Raw Fishes (if you selected them as your reward).
