How to unlock: Talk to Drake.

Quest give: Drake (number 18 on the map)

Attention - this quest is available only after you join the demon hunters!

The Nameless Hero has to help the demon hunters in order to advance among them

You can start this quest after joining the demon hunters faction. Completing it results in being promoted to Demon Hunter rank. To make it so, you have to meet Drake, who should be somewhere on the ground floor of the Citadel (number 18 on the map). Ask Drake about the promotion and you will learn that you need to complete some tasks for smith Wilson, before you become a Demon Hunter.

Attention - From the moment you join the demon hunters, you can learn rune magic spells from Drake. Moreover, he can teach you some new skills.

Attention - Drake can give you two more side quests, but completing them is not necessary to be promoted.

Listen to what Wilson has to say

Wilson can be found in one of the rooms in the Citadel (number 9 on the map). Start a conversation and offer him your services. Wilson will send you to look for five Books of Evil that entangle the minds of their owners. Two of them can be found in Calador, one on Antigua and two more on Taranis.

Attention - Wilson can also teach the hero rune magic spells.

Travis will tell you something about the book owners

Head to an inn located north-west of the Citadel and talk to two persons named by Wilson. From talking to Yvette (number 11 on the map), you will learn basically nothing. Travis (number 12 on the map) however, will tell you some interesting things. You will learn about Mick, who escapes during the night and about the fact that he recently got a delivery of rotten meat from farmer Bran.

Mick can be found in the inn, but talking to him want get you closer to obtaining the book. If you want to follow Travis' suggestion, you can wait until the night comes. After returning to the inn in the night, you will see Mick leaving the building. If you follow him, you will reach a place where he has build an altar (number 8b on the map) and you will have to defeat him in a fight. Watch out for his strong attacks and remember to dodge and parry. After killing Mick (150 glory points) you can search his body to find Mick's Notes and 30 gold.

You don't have to follow Mick, as you can find the hideout by yourself, during the day, and you won't have to fight him. No matter which option you choose, you should approach the altar and take the Book of Evil that lies there (200 glory points).

Talk to Bran and Logan several times

Now, head towards a farm located to the north of Mick's hideout (number 13 on the map). When you reach it, talk to Bran and ask him about the meat. Bran will send you to Logan, who also lives on the farm (50 glory points). After you are sent back, talk to Bran again. At the end, talk once again to Logan and force him to give you the Book of Evil (200 glory points). After obtaining it, you can tell Logan that you work for demon hunters and he will give you additional 50 gold.

Attention - For the next three books, you have to head to Antigua and Taranis, so now move to the chapters that describe the side quests in these locations. Return to Calador when you have all the books.

Give the books to Wilson and return to Drake

When you have all the books, go back to Wilson in the Citadel (number 9 on the map). Give him the volumes and you will receive 400 glory points, 400 gold and 2 x Tome of Ancient Knowledge. Meet with Drake (number 18 on the map) once again and wait until you are promoted to a Demon Hunter.

• 1000 glory points
• Unlocking the "New Armour" quest.
