How to unlock this quest: Speak to Quinn (on Kila Island).

You can take the sword's blade or listen to Flynn's plan

You could unlock this quest on Kila Island after your meeting with Quinn from the pirates' beach. He asked the Nameless Hero to find Flynn and to take away from him his family's inheritance. You can find Flynn in the warehouse in the port town (map location 3). You can find more details about how to find him and how to rescue him in the description of the side quest named "Storage". During your conversation with Flynn mention the Quinn's request. Flynn will reveal to you that bringing to Quinn their family's souvenir will not be beneficial to you since it is a part of a very valuable sword. You may now choose between two ways:

• Demand him to give you his family's souvenir which is Blade: Wound Tearer (for free or in exchange for 50 gold pieces). If you will choose this option your quest will continue and you will get 200 Glory Points. In this case return to this quest's description in the chapter describing side quests related to Kila Island.
• Agree to the Flynn's plan which means delivering him the sword's hilt from Quinn. If you will choose this option you will cancel your current quest and you will unlock a new quest named "Fragile Past Sins" instead.

Notice! Choosing the quest related to the sword doesn't really matter since both options will lead you to the opportunity of taking the sword for yourself.
