How to unlock: talk to Edward.

You can help Edward learn about his family

You will be able to start this quest after you complete two requirements. Firstly, Edward has to be a member of your crew (more info about that in the description of the "Sign Edward On" quest). Secondly, the hero has to join the demon hunters faction (more on that in the description of the "New Allies" quest in Calador).

If you've completed the tasks described above, Edward should talk to you after the ceremony of joining the demon hunters (otherwise, seek him out on your ship). Edward will tell you that he wants to learn something about the history of his family and you will be asked to find trace of his ancestors.

Explore the area around the castle

Before you start doing the task, make sure that Edward follows you (if you have a companion already, send him back to the ship and take Edward with you). Head to the south-western part of Calador. You have to reach the area with a small camp, south of the ruins that you've visited when hunting the Shadow Lord and collecting the grimoire. When you're in the right place, Edward will talk to you (200 glory points).

Reach the ruins of the house

Listen to what Edward has to say and then follow him, heading to a large meadow. This area is occupied by Scavengers and Rammers, so you should be careful not to be ambushed. You will reach a place where the ruins of Edward's uncle's house can be found. That's the end of this quest, but you can now start another quest connected to Edward (more on that in the description of the "Edward's Birthright" quest).
