Unlocking the quest: Talk to Alvarez (Antigua island).

Get on board of the ship and talk with Jake, who knows the Nameless Hero

You may have unlocked this quest during your stay on Antigua island, specifically after meeting with Admiral Alvarez and doing an opening quest for him. Alvarez asked the main hero to acquire new allies, who would lend their hand with destroying a fleet of pirate ghost ships. One of the factions you can ask for help are the Natives from Kila island.

After reaching Kila island, you can either immediately head to the Natives Village (N on the map) or first talk to Jake, the captain of a floating vessel that belongs to this faction. The ship lays at anchor near the pirates beach (point 1 on the map), where you can either swim to or use one of the boats by the shore. Once you get on board of the ship, find Jake and talk to him. Jake knows the Nameless Hero but is not willing to pass the command on the vessel on him neither to take care of the ghost ships problem. Jake may change his mind, if the Nameless Hero improves his reputation among the ship's crew, so after he recovers a part of his soul and gain the support of the Natives on Kila.

After joining with the Natives you will be able to take command over the ship

Meet Jake again after you have decided to join the Natives. Interestingly, you do not have to wait until you are promoted to a Voodoo Master, so you can do that while still being a Voodoo Pirate. As a result of the meeting with Jake, the main hero becomes the new captain of the Natives Ship.

Note - Since that moment, you can permanently add to your company people who are interested in joining the Nameless Hero's crew (previously, some of them did not want to join the protagonist, because he only had a small sloop that belonged to Bones).

• 200 Glory Points (you get these points for your first travel on the new ship)
