Open the Large Gate | Main Quests - Kila Risen 3 Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Way to unlock the quest: Talk to Baraka.
Quest giver: Baraka (point 3 on the map)
Baraka is one of the natives and his job is to guard the large gate (point 3 on the map) to the Forbidden Valley. He will refuse to let you in, before you obtain Ancient Knowledge.
To the South-East of the gate guarded by Baraka, you meet Mud (point 3a on the map), who joins your party without asking. Mud wants you to accompany him to the temple in the Forbidden Valley, where he can obtain its riches. He is a very irritating "helper". Mud is not going to take part in fights and he only accosts you, every now and then.
Of course, you can allow Mud to follow you around. Still, if he annoys you, there are three ways to solve this problem. The first option is to leave Kala but, this is only a temporary solution, because he joins you again, after you return to the isle. The second option is to give 1000 gold pieces to Mud, to make him go away. This variant becomes available only after some time. The final, third option is to mug Mud several times (at best in melee) and threaten him to kill him. The guy leaves your party for good, but you are punished with several negative soul points.
Meet up with Baraka again, only after you have progressed to the third chapter of the game's story line, i.e. after you have completed the "The Ancient Knowledge" main quest in Calador. Let the Native know that you have learned the ancient knowledge and you will be admitted into the Forbidden Valley.
Rewards for completing the quest:
- 400 Glory Points
