How to unlock the quest: through conversation with Rumold

Rumold

Rumold can be found standing in front of the warehouse entrance in the harbor (point 3 on the map). During the conversation with the man, you will have to decide if you want to help to resolve the problem with harbor thieves. Rumold suspects the gnomes to be the one responsible for that, but he still asks the Nameless Hero to investigate and find the culprit.

Note - Rumold is also a dealer.

Approach the boxes stored in the harbor at night.

As the theft has place during the night hours, you will have to wait for the time of the day to shift. If you don't want to wait for it, you can use any bed and fast-forward the time a few hours. After it's the night already, approach the boxes stored in the harbor (point 3a on the map) and interact with them, to begin your night watch task.

You must get rid of all of the pesky goblins.

The game will show a short cutscene, during which you will learn that the one responsible for the theft are the Looting Goblins. Attack the monsters, which, fortunately, aren't the strongest foes in the game. For each goblin you kill you will be given 50 Glory Points, and there are a total of 3 of them to be killed (100 Glory Points). Afterwards, wait for the day and go back to Rumold (point 3 on the map), to tell him about your discovery. The man will let you decide if you want to be given gold or the contents of the chest as a reward. I would recommend selecting the chest, as it contains a couple of valuable magical crystals.

Rewards for completing the quest:

• 200 Glory Points
• 250 Gold (if you have chosen the gold as a reward)
• Rumold's Surprise Box (if you have chosen the box as a reward) - after opening the chest from your inventory, you will receive 3 Magic Crystals, 20 Gold and 2 Bottles of Grog.
