Way to unlock the quest: Talk to Erasmus (Taranis isle)

Along your path to the staying place of the missing apprentice, you can talk to Jack

You can unlock this quest while on the Taranis isle, i.e. during the conversation with Erasmus that is staying at the mages HQ. He asks the Nameless One to find his apprentice, Horas, who is in possession of one of the monolith stones (for detailed information, see the chapter with main quests on Taranis). After you get to the Tacarigua isle, you get the opportunity to complete the quest. This first thing worth doing is meeting up with the lighthouse ward, Jack, whom you can find on the beach, near the starting point (point 1 on the map). You will learn from him how you can get to Puerto Sacarico. At the same time, you will get to know that the isle has been taken over by the Inquisition.

Puerto Sacarico

The town of Puerto Sacarico is in the Western part of the isle and you can get there without major problems. Follow the main paths, walk around the camp of deserter Vasco and cross the mountainous areas. Of course, you need to eliminate several monsters, along your path and you should be most cautious about Minions and Ghouls. You can enter the town either through the Western or the Northern gate and whichever you choose, does not matter (200 glory points).

Horas's staying place

Cross Puerto Sacarico and head South-Westwards. After you exit the town, you need to watch out for single monsters. Still, there are no monsters around that would be particularly strong. Ultimately, you need to reach a small encampment, where apprentice Horas is hiding (point 1b on the map). Start a conversation with Horas, who will tell you that he has been accused of theft by Sebastiano, and that he is currently hiding from the Inquisitors. Towards the end of the conversation, you can ask Horas to your ship to accompany you to Taranis (400 glory points + 100 glory points at the moment at which you leave Tacarigua).
