Monkey Business | Side Quests - Kila Risen 3 Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
How to unlock the quest: through conversation with Pamir.
Quest giver: Pamir (point 13 on the map).
A gnome named Pamir stand on a small elevation, near the natives village (point 13 on the map) and you can cut a small talk with him. During the conversation, Pamir will ask the main character to help him retrieve a valuable earring, which was stolen by monkeys. After expressing the will to complete the task, you will additionally have to accept the willingness to march behind Pamir.
Follow Pamir and be ready to encounter the jungle monsters, which you can (and probably will) encounter during your march. The destination point is the cave of the monkeys (point 10a on the map), located exactly below the main section of the natives village. Another conversation with Pamir should begin here, and it can lead to two different conclusions. If you've already learned the ability called Monkey Trainer, you will be able to advance to the further part of the quest (the description can be found below). Otherwise, you will have to meet one of the trainers who can teach you the skill.
If you don't have the Monkey Trainer ability at your disposal, you can meet, for instance, with Buddy, located on the pirates beach (point 3 on the map), and ask him to teach you that. Unlocking this ability requires you to pay 1000 gold, and to have the Influence attribute developed to at least 40 points.
Whether you had access to the Monkey Trainer ability, or if you had to unlock it first, make sure that you are near the monkey cave (point 10a on the map). Open up your inventory screen, select the Monkey from it and drag it on the quickbar. Press the appropriate key / button to seize control over the monkey. Enter the cave, collecting the Small Earring along the way. Get back to the main character, regain control over it and give the earring back to Pamir.
Rewards for completing the quest:
- 300 Glory Points
- 2 Sapphires
