Taranis | Legendary items Risen 3 Guide

The above map contains references to all of the locations of legendary items (blue dots) while you are on the Taranis Island. It's worth noting, that some of those items are hard to, or even impossible to get at first. It can be like that because of a necessity to defeat a powerful enemy guarding the treasure, or lacking an ability which is required to retrieve it.

1) Small Gripping Pliers

You will have to win a drinking mini-game in order to get the goods.

Item stats : +10 to Pickpocketing attribute

This legendary item is a reward for completing the side quest called "Nightcap". The quest requires you to win a drinking mini-game with Gordon, who can be found in the tavern, in the mages encampment, during the night hours (point 1 on the map). Defeat him in the mini-game, claim the item and 400 Glory Points.

2) Vague Promises

The only way to get your hands on this item is to gain access to Lombruk's chamber.

Item stats : +5 to Influence attribute

This legendary item lies hidden in a private chamber of a mage named Lombruk, in the main mages building (point 2 on the map). You can gain access to the room only through a side quest called "The Private Store" (you won't be able to get there outside the quest), given to you by Agila. After reaching the chamber check the contents of the chest, from which you will be able to collect a few Magic Crystals as well. The chest contains a book - Vague Promises - which is the legendary item you were looking for. Additionally, you will be given 400 Glory Points for collecting the legendary artifact.

3) Blood-soaked Cloth

You will have to swim to a small islet.

Item stats : +10 to Resist Magic attribute

In comparison to the South-Eastern section of the map, there's a small islet here, which you can easily swim to (point 3 on the map). Start exploring the island, getting rid of Sand-Devils and / or Dragon Snappers, which you surely should stumble upon soon.

The artifact is hidden in the rats' cave.

In the Western section of the mentioned islet, there's an ascension to a cave, flooded with Giant Rats and Cave Bats. Get rid of the pesky beasts and carefully and thoroughly scan the entire cave. You should soon be able to locate the Blood-Soaked Cloth. Additionally, you will be given 400 Glory Points for collecting the legendary artifact.

4) Blue Quill

Find the crate near the waterfront

The item's functioning: +10 points to Silver Tongue

This legendary item is in the North-Eastern part of Taranis. Go along the beach and you should notice an opened wooden crate (point 4 on the map). Examine the crate and you will obtain the Blue Quill. For obtaining this artifact, you will be rewarded with 400 glory points.

5) Gilded Orb

You can buy the Gilded Orb from Agila

Item Effect: +10 points to the Pistols ability

This legendary item you can buy in the shop of Agila, an inhabitant of the mage's camp that you can find on Taranis Island (map location 5). Depending on the time of the day you can find Agila in various places near the main square, for example in the tavern. The Gilded Orb will initially cost 1800 gold pieces, however you can reduce this price if you developed necessary abilities. If you will buy this artefact you will also receive 400 Glory Points.

6) Sun Crystal

Look into the chest in the Zacharias's tower

Item Effect: +10 points to the Crystal Magic ability

This legendary item is hidden in the Zacharias's tower in the east part of the mages' camp (map location 6). You can visit this tower only after you will get to the third chapter of the game's main plot, so only after you will initiate your preparations to the soul's ritual. After you will get to the tower you need to go to its upper floor and open a chest which you can find here. You can now take out the Sun Crystal and you will also receive 400 glory points.

7) Small Stone Tablet

You have to complete a quest for Lumbrok to receive this legendary item

Item Effect: +10 points to the Rune Magic ability

This legendary item is a reward for completing the quest named "The Gourmet". You can unlock this quest during a conversation with the mage named Lumbrok, which you can find in the main mage's seat (map location 7. To complete this quest you have to deliver to Lumbrok four delicacies from different parts of the world. Your reward will be Small Stone Tablet and 400 glory points.
