Unlocking the quest: Talk to Hirutu (Kila island)

Note - This quest becomes available after you join the Natives!

Emma may be on the beach or in the port town

You may have unlocked this quest during your stay on Kila island, specifically after meeting with Hirutu the chief. In one stage of the quest you have to visit Antigua island to find another person who knows voodoo magic. The character you are looking for is Emma. Originally, she stays on the eastern beach (point 7 on the map), however, after completing a side quest "Lost at the Eastern Beach", she moves to her hut (point 7c on the map). Actually, I recommend doing all Emma related quests, in order that she regained her full strength. Meet with the woman and listen to her plan of bringing a dead person to life. You will have to help her with a voodoo experiment.

Get Pansel's underwear during a conversation with Grace

After meeting Emma, go out of her house and head north. In the port town look for Grace (point 4 on the map), and accordingly to the instructions Emma gave you, ask the woman for a Pansel's private belonging. Grace will give the Nameless Hero Pansel's Underwear (100 Glory Points).

The next step is poorly explained in the Nameless Hero's journal. You have to craft a voodoo doll. Before you do anything, double check if your hero has Craft Spells proficiency from Magic category, because without it you cannot do a thing. If you do not have this skill, visit a trainer (e.g. Tenya on Kila island) and pay for the training (2,000 gold).

If you do have Craft Spells proficiency, you can now start looking for an Ancestral Stone, which is a sort of a workshop for crafting voodoo spells. An Ancestral Stone is in Emma's hut (point 7c on the map), as depicted in the picture above. Of course you do not have to use that particular Ancestral Stone, as it may be any other, e.g. the one on Kila island, near Tenya.

Interact with the Ancestral Stone, and from the list choose Pansel's Underwear, which you have recently acquired. In order to prepare a Voodoo Doll of Pansel, you have to possess four ingredients:

• Pansel's Underwear - You obtained this during the meeting with Grace.
• 1 Jade - You should have a lot of these on you, but if not, you can look around, explore a cave/mine or, as a last resort, buy a Jade from a vendor.
• 1 Eye - Eyes are dropped by some monsters when killed, so if you checked their remains (even without special hunting skills), you should now have at least some of these you. If not, visit a miscellaneous items vendor (vendors list is in a separate part of the guide).
• 1 Monkey Skull - The best way to obtain skulls is by killing monkeys. Most often you can find them in the jungle on Kila island. If you do not want to waste time for the search, you can go to a miscellaneous items vendor (e.g. Emma).

If you possess all the required ingredients, confirm that you want to create a voodoo doll. Select it right in your inventory (Magic tab) and drag to the quick access bar.

Take control over Pansel

Go back to the building where you met Grace (point 4 on the map), and look for Pansel. Activate the previously prepared voodoo doll (select the right item from the quick access bar). Performing this action will give you control over Pansel.

Spencer

Playing as Pansel return to Emma (point 7c on the map) and tell her that you have managed to use voodoo magic on the man (200 Glory Points). Listen to the remaining part of the plan and start off by going to the tavern in the western part of the port town (point 6 on the map). After you get to the tavern, talk to the bartender Spencer.

Note - While controlling Pansel, it is good to run through all dialogue options in every conversation, as it may lead to hilarious comments or get you extra items (of little value, though).

Mac

After meeting Spencer you may talk to others in the tavern, however, it is totally optional. The most important thing, is to find Mac there. He possesses An Old Hat, which, after a longish conversation, will be passed on to you (100 Glory Points).

You will find a shovel on the cemetery

Now go and talk with Grace (point 4 on the map) about the missing shovel. You can now head to the cemetery in the west from Alvarez' residence (point 7b on the map). Here, look for the Worn Shovel and take it (100 Glory Points). Return to Emma (point 7c on the map) and give her the two items. You have now done all you had to do as Pansel, so you can jump right back to your body.

Go with Emma to the cemetery and witness the result of the experiment

Talk to Emma once again and confirm your readiness to take part in the experiment (100 Glory Points). The test must be done at night, so if it is a wrong time of the day, you should use a bed. Go with Emma to the cemetery (point 7c on the map) and witness the result of the experiment. The attempt at bringing Fred to life is only partially successful, as he is deprived of intelligence. Hear the conversation with Emma and receive the Broken Necromancy Stone of Blessing. That is all for the visit on Antigua.

Note - If you have not yet completed the remaining stages of this quest, you have to visit Tacarigua and Taranis islands. Otherwise, you may return to Kila, to have the concluding conversation with Tenya.
