Another mission for the United Colonies faction is the one called War Relics. This Starfield guide page explains where to find the Kaiser robot and how to get the battery.

War Relics is the next quest in UC Vanguard questline, initiated after the conclusion of The Devils You Know mission. On this page we supply a walkthrough for the mission. We show how and where to find Kaiser and how to obtain a MicroCell, and how to cooperate with the robot.

Quest start

1. Talk to Hadrian . You can find her in Red Devils Headquarters on planet Mars in Sol system.
2. After the initial conversation, follow the woman. She will give you the needed schematics.

Search for Kaiser

1. Travel to Niira planet in Narion system. Land at 1-Of-A-Kind Salvage.
2. Enter the building near the landing pad. Inside, talk to the man named Gel. For information, you need to pay 1000 credits - you can use Persuasion to lower the price to 675 credits. Pay the man. Getting the information is not a mandatory step in this mission, but without it, you won't learn the exact location of Kaiser.

1. Leave the building and head to the badlands.Kaiser is found in the UC Syracuse location.
2. You need to kill the creatures ensnaring the robot, then talk to him.
3. After saying the code, it turns out that Kaiser needs a battery. For the purpose of obtaining it, you need to return to Gel.

Obtaining the MicroCell

There are two ways of getting the needed battery.

1. First - buying the battery from Gel. This is the fastest way to get back on track with the mission. However, it will set you back 12320 credits, which is a lot.

1. If you don't want or don't have the means to buy the MicroCell, you need to craft one. Start by asking Gel for more information.
2. To learn the exact locations of the materials, you need to agree to sell excess ones (if you find them) to Gel However, nothing will happen if you lie and ultimately don't bring any excess materials.
3. You won't find the necessary items in a single location - after leaving Gel, we recommend traveling to the mission marker that is on far right.Keep in mind that you may encounter dangerous enemies in these locations.
4. After collecting the necessary materials, use an Industrial Workbench to craft the MicroCell. You can find one in the building where Gel is found.

Working with Kaiser

1. Bring the battery to the robot and talk to him.
2. Now, follow Kaiser - there may be some hostile Sirens along the way.
3. Next objective in line is to clear Ecliptic Base of opponents. You can order the droid to stand down, but consider taking him, as there are some difficult enemies in the base.

1. You need to clear the base fully - get rid of every enemy in the area. Use Powers and prepare a supply of medkits before departing for the base.
2. After the area is clear, talk to Kaiser.

Returning to Mars

1. Return to Red Devils Headquarters on planet Mars in Sol system.
2. Listen to the conversation held between 3 characters. With the conversation concluded, you'll receive XP and 10300 credits.
