Hostile Intelligence is a difficult mission you must complete for the United Colonies faction. From this pgae of the guide to Starfield you will learn how to prepare to fight Terrormorphs and how to kill these creatures.

The Hostile Intelligence quest begins in the same location where War Relics mission for UC Vanguard was initiated and is another mission ensuing after this quest. Our guide shows how to prepare for the Terrormorph battles and how to kill them easily, and how to obtain all needed tissue samples.

Preparing for the mission

1. In Red Devils Headquarters on Mars, follow Hadrian and talk to her.
2. Before embarking further, prepare yourself for encounters that appear in this mission - buy better weapons or replenish ammo for ones carried.Lieutenant Azevedo found in the HQ sells very good shotguns, and we recommend bringing one.
3. Also, remember to prepare a supply of med packs and trauma kits, if your stock is low.

Traveling to Toliman II

1. Travel to the Toliman system. Along the way, you'll be stopped by UC units, but they will let you through eventually.
2. Land on Forward Base 441 on planet Toliman II. Proceed to the command post.
3. Talk to Commander Hatoum.
4. If you feel like you are not fully prepared, visit the base armory. There you'll be able to pick up ammo, weapons, med packs, a new helmet, spacesuit and pack.
5. Once you're ready, talk to Hadrian.

Terrormorphs encountered

1. In front of the airlock, pull the switches and enter the city.
2. You will be attacked by a few creatures - they are not difficult opponents. After defeating them , go to the room at the end of the processing plant where you will find additional supplies.
3. In the next large location, you will be attacked by Terrormorphs. Above all, watch out for the camouflaged one.
4. If you brought good weapons with you, you should deal with the threat easily.It is a good idea to use grenades and mines in combat.

1. Your goal is to collect three Aceles samples. You can find them in containers.
2. If you collected the needed samples first, you will still need to defeat all enemies in the area.
3. Once the area is clear, give the samples to Kaiser.

Obtaining further samples

1. Go to the steam tunnels. Talk to Hadrian in the glassed room.
2. Next, kill the Terrormorph and collect the tissue sample from its body.
3. Give the sample to Kaiser and talk to the unit members.

1. You must restore power. Go up the stairs to the very top and turn on the two switches.
2. Listen to the recording , collect it and talk to Hadrian.
3. Return to Kaiser and go to the next location.

1. Time for the final battle of the quest. You must kill the Terrormorph Anomaly.
2. This enemy will summon other creatures to fight for him. You can take them all on, but a better solution is disabling three switches, which will make the Terrormorph summons fight for you.
3. After the fight, collect the sample from the Terrormorph's body and give it to Kaiser.

Completing the quest

1. Return to Forward Base 441. You can get there thanks to the steep snow-covered pathway accessible from the arena where you fought the final battle of the quest.
2. After the conversation with Percival, the mission will end. You will collect XP and 12000 credits.
