On this guide page, we have described the Surgical Strike mission, one of the faction missions of the Freestar Collective. You will learn what exactly you can do in the Clinic, how to get an access card to the VIP wing, and how to get a slate from a woman named Maya Cruz.
- Starting the mission in the Clinic
- Maya Cruz - searching for her
- Obtaining access card to the VIP wing
- Battle in the space station
- Return to the Rock
Starting the mission in the Clinic
- Travel to the Narion system, to the orbit of the planet Deepala. There, fly to the space station Clinic and dock to it.
- Find Ben Armistead and talk to him. Together with the man, you will go to Ari Miller.
Maya Cruz - searching for her
When Ari checks the patient's data, you will have several options to continue the mission.
- You can talk to Jane Nakamori. She is not the person you are looking for, but if you manage to persuade her, you can receive 1,000 credits for keeping her secret. However, if you choose the [Theft] option, you will gain 4,000 credits.
- You can also talk to Candace Doolin. Unfortunately she is not wanted.
- After talking with two women, go back to Miller. He will share new information with you.
- You can speed up the entire process - do not talk to anyone and find the information yourself by going to the terminal, selecting "Administrator access", then "Active processes" and "Inquiry: Disruptor ver. 4".
Obtaining access card to the VIP wing
Now you need to get an access card to the VIP wing.
- You can talk to a man named Titus Cassidy. If you use persuasion and manage to convince him, you will immediately receive the card.
- If persuasion didn't work on Titus, you can go to his office. The access card is in the safe - the security level is low, so you should have no problem breaking it.
- Head to the VIP wing - a turret will attack you there. Go to the room behind it and find a note "Urgent - read immediately" on the table. Do what the text suggests.
Battle in the space station
- Now you must go to the space station, which is located in the orbit of the planet Bonner in the Sakharov system. Be careful - there are mines and many enemies on its territory.
- Once at the Eklunda CL25 mining point, approach the door on the left side of the main entrance and press the button. You will reach a bigger room.
- To proceed, you must get rid of the yellow security measures on the doors. You can shoot them with a cutter or other weapon (this will take more time).
- Enter the elevator and take it down. There, climb the stairs and then jump on the large blue crystals sticking out of the walls. You will reach a hole that leads to doors being the return path - you, however, go the other way and keep going down the stairs.
- After crossing the long crystal bridge, you will reach a switch that opens the next door. Follow the tunnel all the way to the elevator.
- After taking the elevator down into the huge cave, use the boost pack or stairs to get to the small room. Destroy the yellow security on the doors to gain access to it.We recommend dealing with all robots before entering.
- Maya Cruz will attack you - defeat the woman and then talk to her. She is not difficult to beat.
- The decision whether to kill the woman or leave her be is yours. Regardless of your choice, you will receive a slate (directly from her or after searching the corpse).
Return to the Rock
- There is a window at the end of the room where you were talking with Cruz. After going through it, a large door at the bottom will open, leading to another elevator and an exit.
- Return to your ship and fly to the Rock in Akila city (Cheyenne system).
- After talking to Alex, the mission will end. You will receive XP and 9,300 credits.
- The next faction mission (First to Fight, First to Die) will only be unlocked when you complete both the Surgical Strike and On the Run missions.
