Is it possible to visit Earth?
Starfield takes place in the far future. Many things have changed over the past centuries, including the Earth. Just like our entire solar system, Earth is available in the game. You can head there, but there's little to find on its surface. The planet is dried out and lifeless, devoid of flora and fauna.
- Like the other planets in Starfield, Earth is explorable. There's some materials there, as well as a geophysical trait.
- You can build an outpost on Earth, if you so wish.
- You can also land on the moon. On its surface, you'll find some explorable space stations.
Sol System in Starfield
There are more interesting planets and moons to visit in the Sol system.
- Most of the content is located on Mars. This planet is home to a large area, Cydonia. It holds some shops and traders.
- You can approach Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, but you cannot land on them.
- The other planets, that is, Mercury, Venus and Pluto, can be traversed on foot to acquire research data.
