Alternating Currents is the second side quest of Louisa Reyez of the Well from the game Starfield. Walkthrough tells you where the box associated with the power drops is, where to find the evidence, and whether to give the evidence to Zoe or Louisa.

This page of the Starfield game guide describes the optional mission Alternating Currents taking place in the Well location in New Atlantis. Starting the second quest and following Louisa Reyez.

1. Alternating Currents is a continuation of the Tapping the Grid side quest - it is described on the previous page of our guide.
2. After examining all the junction boxes, you must meet Louisa Reyez again. As a reminder, the woman is in the Well in New Atlantis.
3. Follow Luisa. You will reach the Trade Authority in the Well. Listen to the conversation with Zoe Kaminski and talk to Louisa again. Wait for Zoe to return and talk to her.

Finding junction box 36B

1. As in the previous quest, the blue marker indicates the current junction box. You can also follow the arrows visible on the hand scanner.
2. The new box is located above the room you were talking with Zoe. On the way to the box, jump over the missing piece of the railing (picture). Open the panel to turn off the junction box.

Reaching box 45A or 47B

1. Louisa and Zoe will recommend different boxes for you to investigate. You only need to reach one of the junction boxes - the choice will not change the course of the mission. Open the panel and turn off the box.
2. To reach the next box, you must leave the Well and move to the residential area of New Atlantis. Box 101F is near the outer wall of one of the residential buildings (picture above).

Finding the place related to power drops

1. Enter the Athena Tower apartment building and use the elevator to reach the upper floor. You need to break into the apartment - unlock at least level 1 of the Security skill and use a digipick to open the door.

Finding evidence

1. In the apartment, examine the unauthorized computer. After loading the operating system, select the first item - Program Update.

Choice - providing evidence to Louisa or Zoe

1. Return to the Trade Office in the Well with the evidence found on the computer. You have a minor choice - you can only give the evidence to one person.
2. In both cases, you will receive XP and 2,000 credits. There are no more tasks from this quest line. The woman who didn't receive the evidence will only be disappointed with your choice.
