Many players report that they can’t build an outpost. The problem occurs when they want to create in the 3rd person mode. While the camera angle changes, the UI becomes grayed out and prevents gamers from further interactions.

It is a strange bug because some fans state that it does not happen for them worldwide. It means that the issue does not affect all outpost but some of them. So, if you have the possibility, you may choose another place for the base and check if the problem will reoccur.

There is only one known solution to this issue – save the game and load it. Surprisingly, it is quite popular fix for various problems in Starfield. For example, it works for the bugged workbench.
