Ship Services Technician - available services/options
- In the world of Starfield, there are shipyards servicing spaceships, but finding their locations may be problematic. Continue reading this page to see a list and exact locations of all shipyards, including these from main cities and stations. This will allow you to plot the right course straight to the shipyard without frantically searching for them.
- The person you want to see in a shipyard is a Ship Services Technician. Some of them, aside from the name describing the function, have unique names. Regardless of whether your technician is named or not, you need to interact with him and choose the dialogue option interesting you.
- Among the services, we have ship repair (for a fee), browsing owned ships (to upgrade or initiate Shipbuilder) and buying new ones. These menus cannot be accessed e.g. from your ship - you need to make the trip to a Technician.
- The stock of different Techicians is mostly the same, but there are some exceptions. Some shipyards may have additional items in their inventory, and e.g. offer unique upgrades (note, among others, The Key station).
New Atlantis - Jemison System

- This is the easiest shipyard to find, as New Atlantis is one of the destinations visited during initial story tasks. You can find the Ship Services Techician right next to your ship.
- In case of this shipyard, there is an increased chance of finding unique items in stock.
The Key - Kryx system
- As a reminder - The Key space station is the headquarters of the Crimson Fleet. To be able to land in the station, you first need to establish contact with the pirates - all required steps can be viewed on a dedicated page How to join the Crimson Fleet?.
- The technician on call here is Jasmine Durand. The unique name is there for a reason - Jasmine is the only person from whom you can buy equipment for hiding contraband - Scan Jammer and Shielded Cargo Hold. We discussed the topic of contraband and equipment you need for successful runs on a dedicated page How to hide contraband from a scanner?.
The Den - Wolf system
- You need to dock at The Den. You'll find the Technician right after leaving the ship.
- In case of this shipyard, there is an increased chance of finding unique items in stock.
Cydonia - Sol System
- After landing on Mars, don't enter the space station, but look for the Ship Services building left from it (screenshot).
- Technician should be right next to the building. If he is not in this location, change the time of day.
Neon - Volii system
- Land in Neon City on planet Volii Alfa. The Ship Services building is next to the landing pad and you can visit it before embarking for the station itself.
- If you don't find the technician inside, use the option to change the time of day and try again.
Akila - Cheyenne system

- Decide to land in the city. The Ship Services building is along the way from the landing pad to the main part of the station. Look for the Technician there.
Hopetown - Valo system
- After landing in the city, stay near the landing pad. This technician wears a helmet, and you can find him next to one of the kiosks (screenshot).
Paradiso - Porrima System
- Land in the city on Porrima II planet. This city is characteristic for its large landing pad - look for kiosks there. The Technician should not far from it (screenshot).
Red Mile - Porrima System
- The Red Mile is the name of the outpost on Porrima III, characteristic for its ever-present gambling.
- After a successful landing, you must go past 2 airlocks and enter the base. The Ship Services building should be in front of you. Enter the building to find not an anonymous technician, but one with a unique name - Lon Anderssen.
