Location of Akila City on the galaxy map
- Akila City is on the planet Akila located in the Cheyenne system.
- You can fly to Akila City early in the game, without waiting for it to become part of main or side missions.
- Akila City is one large map, although the interiors of some buildings are separate locations separated by loading screens - we have marked them on our map.
The Rock
- The Rock is a tower-shaped building that can be found in the central part of Akila City.
- This location is the headquarters of the Freestar Rangers faction, i.e. space marshals who ensure that the colonized systems are following the law. You can start the Freestar Rangers questline here.
Shops and service points
- In Akila City, you can find various shops where you can buy and sell goods.
- You can also find various service points in the city, e.g. a clinic that allows you to restore your character to full health.
Collectibles and unique equipment
- During your stay in New Atlantis, you can look for secrets and collectibles - these mainly include magazines providing permanent stat bonuses.
- There are also unique weapons hidden in the city. They can be, for example, in closed containers or sold at selected stores.
Main and side quests
- You have to visit Akila City during the main plot - you will be accompanied by Sam Coe. However, you don't have to thoroughly explore the city to make progress in the main plot.
- You can look for opportunities to start side quests, faction quests and small activities received from mission boards.
