In the game Starfield you can own your own house or houses, which vary in location, size and price. On this page you will find a list of all the houses and how to get them.

On this page of our guide you'll learn where to find all inhabitable houses in Starfield. We've also described how to acquire each one.

General information about houses

You can own a house inStarfield. They are available in larger cities, such as New Atlantis and Akila. Most of them must be purchased, but some can be acquired for free.

Owning a house is different from renting a place. Rentals are more common and temporary, giving you one specific room for a day or a week. A house, however, is your permanent home you can decorate at will and place useful devices there, such as workbenches. You'll learn more on the page How to decorate houses?.

New Atlantis - all houses

  1. Price: 30,000 credits.
  2. Location: The apartment is located on the first floor in The Well. You can get there by elevator near the transit railway, from the MAST district.
  3. The apartment can be purchased from Zora, found in the MAST district. You must be a citizen of the United Colonies to purchase this place. You'll receive citizenship after joining the Vanguard and beating a few faction quests. You'll learn more on the page: How to obtain United Colonies citizenship?.
  4. This place isn't too big, though it has two stories. The ground floor holds a kitchen, while the first floor holds a bathroom and an additional room.

  1. Price: free.
  2. Location: The penthouse is in the Residential District atop Mercury Tower. You can get there by transit train.
  3. You'll receive this place for free after completing all United Colonies quests. Talk to Zora in the MAST district to get the keys.

  1. The New Atlantis penthouse is one of the largest and most luxurious apartments in Starfield. It has several rooms, bathrooms and two large balconies with beautiful views.

  1. Price: 235,000 credits.
  2. Location: This apartment is in the Trade Tower. You'll access it via elevator, at the edge of the city near the Astral Lounge entrance.
  3. You can purchase this place from the bartender at the Astral Lounge.
  4. It's a nice, though small apartment with a single bathroom and a balcony view of the city of Neon.

  1. Price: 6,500 credits.
  2. Location: The sleepcrate is in Ebbside - the district entrances are to the side of Neon's main street.
  3. You can purchase this place from Izna Sundararaman in Ebbside. She waits at a well-marked stall with a neon sign saying Sleep Crate.
  4. The sleepcrate is very small and there's no space for large furniture in it.

  2. Location: The house is located opposite the Coe Estate, next to the Rock (Freestar Collective HQ).
  3. You can purchase it from Ngodup Tate, who always hangs out in front of the place.
  4. The house has a large kitchen, a bathroom and an additional room.

  1. Price: 45,000 credits.
  2. Location: The house is located on Akila outskirts, less than 100 meters behind the previous house.
  3. It is also sold by Nogdup Tate.
  4. It's small, has a small kitchen, a bathroom and two rooms.

Nesoi house

  1. Cost: 125,000 credits (on purchase) or 500 credits per week.
  2. Location: The house is located on the planet Nesoi in the Olympus system. It's located in a nice area surrounded by mountains, but there are no major cities nearby.
  3. You'll only gain access to it if you've chosen the "Dream Home" trait at the beginning of the game, in the character creator. You can either use it by paying weekly (you can pay right before entering the house) or making a single payment at the bank.

  1. The Nesoi house is the largest house in the game, and one of the prettiest ones too. It has a huge living room, a kitchen on the ground floor, several rooms, bathrooms and a large balcony.
