- Where is the parents' apartment?
- Pros and cons of having a contact with parents
Choosing the Kid Stuff trait
- You can't meet your parents, because they are dead. The only way to change this is to select the Kid Stuff trait as one of the three in the creator window. If you miss this trait in the character creator, unfortunately, you cannot manually add it later during the actual game.
We discussed the unlocking of the creator and all its main tabs in more detail on the Character creator page.

- You can visit your parents in the city of New Atlantis on Jemison, which you will reach at a very early stage of the main story.
- Reach the Residential district and find the Pioneer Tower. Use the elevator to travel to the higher floor of the apartment building. Open the door nearest to the elevator to enter the apartment and meet the parents.
Pros and cons of having a contact with parents
- In the apartment you can talk with your father or mother. The topics of conversation can include work, being in a relationship, or childhood memories.
- In the apartment there is a bed, thanks to which you can rest and advance the time of day.
- You can take all the items in the apartment. Since this is your family home, it will not be treated as theft.
- In the apartment you will find, among other things, a school backpack (image above). It has good stats and increases the carrying capacity limit.
- If you visit the Lodge in the main storyline and later tell your father about it, you can also receive a unique pistol from him.
- The only downside of the Kid Stuff trait is that you have to help your parents pay for the apartment. The game will take 2% of your credits each week. At the beginning of the game it's not a problem, but after you collect several hundred thousand credits, you can lose a lot.
- You can remove this trait. When talking with your father, you can tell him that you are not able to continue sending money (the above picture). This will not cause a fight, as the parents' reaction will be peaceful. You will find out that they will move out of the apartment in New Atlantis to another place where they can live for cheaper.
