Terrormorf is one of the bosses of the game Starfield. You can meet the powerful monster in the quest of the faction ZK Guard - Work for a soldier. The guide tells you how to avoid the boss's attacks, how to power up and how to kill Terrormorf.

The Terromorph encountered in the Grunt Work quest may be one of the first bosses you'll face in Starfield. On this page of the guide you'll learn how to defeat the boss by underhanded means, that is, by restoring power to the local defense systems.

Encountering the Terrormorph

1. You can encounter the Terrormorph very early on in the campaign. In New Atlantis you can join the UC Vanguard.
2. Their first full-fledged faction quest is Grunt Work. As part of this quest you'll visit Tau Ceti II. In the settlement you'll meet Hadrian, who'll tell you of the Terrormorph nearby. You must defeat the beast to obtain its tissue sample.
3. The beast should be at level 10. Be careful if you're underleveled.

How to turn on the power in the Kill Lane?

1. In addition to the main objective of killing the Terrormorph, you will also receive a secondary objective of restoring power to three Kill Lanes. We advise doing so, as it can make the fight significantly easier.
2. After leaving the building, sprint and use your boost pack to reach higher places faster. In the upper right corner, you can also see a notification about how far away the monster is. Watch out if it gets closer than 20 meters.

1. Reach the power switches as pictured above. They're marked by blue icons if you have the quest set as active. Not every activation will succeed - occasionally, the game may redirect you to another switch.

How to easily beat the Terrormorph?

1. You don't need to personally kill the Terrormorph, although you absolutely can. To do so, keep moving, use your best weapons and/or explosives, keeping the beast at a distance.
2. After completing the optional objective, it's better to stand in illuminated places and wait for the boss to come closer. The local defense systems will start unloading on it. This makes survival and the fight much, much easier.
