Starfield Premium Edition is out. Hundreds of thousands of people play it even now. It is an astonishing number, taking into consideration the fact that majority of players will launch the title a little bit later with the premiere of Standard version. Sadly, for some fans the game is not working. However, we will present some fixes here, which may help you.
Starfield – not working and launching fix
- Open Steam as an administrator – it is a simple trick but helps some players.
- Make sure that the game launches on a proper monitor – if you normally work on more than one monitor, it is possible that Starfield uses the other one.
- Kill all running processes of the game and try once again – if the gamer is theoretically running but nothing is showing on your screen, try to close it, check in task manager if nothing is pending, and try again. It worked for many people.
- Update your drivers – remember to do that always before any big game launches.
- Adjust multitasking – while it shouldn’t be the case, one of Steam users reports that this method works, so maybe it will help you, too. Enter a Display menu (right-click on your desktop), go to Multitasking tab (select it from the left menu). In the last option select All desktops.
