Unity is another mission in the main storyline of Starfield. In our walkthrough, found on this page of our guide, we show how to learn more about Pilgrim's Rest (which is found on planet Indum II), how to open the door based on correct answering to the questions asked by the computer, how to reach Scorpion's Sting on planet Hyla II and finally how to successfully solve the puzzle involving the glyph depicting the Scorpius constellation.
- Conversation with Keeper Aquilus
- Meeting Va 'Runn prisoner and a member of House of Enlightenment
- Reaching Pilgrim's Rest
- Searching for clues about Unity
- Finding Scorpion's Sting on Hyla II
- Glyph puzzle
- Traveling to the Last Star of the Scorpius Constellation
Conversation with Keeper Aquilus
- This quest is next in line and isn't affected in any way by the choice from High Price to Pay story mission.
- Keeper Aquilus can be foudn in Mast district of New Atlantis. After the first conversation, enter Sanctum Universum. Talk to Aquilus for the second time.
Meeting Va 'Runn prisoner and a member of House of Enlightenment
You have two new leads, and these are:
- Prison in the UC building - you can find it near the landing pad. In one of the cells, you'll find a woman - Mir 'Za with whom you need to talk.
- The House of Enlightenment - to get here, you need to ride one of the elevators in The Well. Here, you need to speak with Andy Singh.
After checking out both leads, return to Keeper Aquilus. Exhaust all dialogue options, and you'll establish that the planet in question is Indum.
Reaching Pilgrim's Rest
- You must travel to the Indum system and land in Pilgrim's Rest location on the surface of planet Indum II.
- After landing, activate your Scanner to determine where you'll need to go. Pilgrim's Rest is about 400 meters away from the landing area.
Searching for clues about Unity
You don't have to ransack the whole Pilgrim's Rest. Instead, enter the small building.
Examine the computer from the screenshot - you can find it next to a locked door. You now need to answer a series of questions, and the correct answers are:
- second (how to unlock the door);
- fourth (what is the Unity?);
- first (people are madness);
- second (myself);
- third (in embracing compassion).
- If you fail to answer correctly to even one question, the conversation will be interrupted. However, you can attempt the quiz any number of times, and the questions or order of answers doesn't change.
- In the room behind the locked door, you can find needed Pilgrim writing (screenshot)
Finding Scorpion's Sting on Hyla II
- Time to travel to Hyla system. If you haven't visited this remote system yet, reach it via shorter jumps e.g. through Lunara and Copernicus systems. Land in ancient ruins on the surface of Hyla II.
- You'll find yourself on a small island. The water surrounding the island is contaminated and you risk infection when wading through it. You can increase your resistance to the toxins by equipping an adequate suit or simply consuming e.g. antibiotics after leaving the water. Near the ruins, you'll also encounter hostile creatures - they shouldn't attack if not provoked.
Glyph puzzle
- There is a glyph resembling a hologram in the ruins - you can see it in the screenshot.
- There are 4 interactive buttons at the glyph and they are used to move the beam of light.
- The buttons works similarly to a d-pad - you can move the light up, left, right, and down.
- Your task here is to position the light beam to the "sting" of the constellation on the floor - we marked it in the screenshot. Successful completion of the puzzle should update mission goals.
Traveling to the Last Star of the Scorpius Constellation
- With the glyph solved, you can return to the ship and leave the planet. Your new destination is planet Oborum III in Oborum Prime system.
- As you reach the orbit of this planet, you'll encounter the spaceship Scorpius, which leads to unlocking a new story mission - In Their Footsteps.
