Starfield has an extensive main storyline. Therefore you can wonder whether can you continue playing after reaching the ending. In the guide, we have included information on whether the game has endgame and a point of no return, as well as how to keep exploring the galaxy.
Is there endgame?
- Quests in Starfield are divided into several different categories, including main story missions. They lead to the only main ending.
- Starfield does not have typical endgame. After finishing the main storyline and getting the ending, watch the credits and you will automatically advance to New Game Plus - we described its assumptions on the NG + mode page.
- The game has the point of no return. After the final battle, you will advance to the One Giant Leap quest. You have to use the grav drive and after moving to a unique location you have to decide whether to watch the ending or go back and continue playing.
- It is best to save the game in the place shown in the image, i.e. before adding the last artifacts to the Armillary in the cockpit.
- Reach the ending and then go back to your previous save. This will allow you to resume exploration of the galaxy in the same playthrough, i.e. with all progress made so far. You can continue exploring planets, developing your character to level 100, collecting better equipment, completing missed quests and building relationships with companions.
