When and where can you encounter Starborn?

You will encounter Starborn for the first time while following the main storyline. Later, you will encounter the beings at different moments of the adventure.

1. Every time you collect a new power and leave the temple, you will be attacked by a guardian, a Starborn.
2. You may encounter larger groups of Starborn while exploring planets. Sometimes these beings land with their distinctive, silver ships on the surface.
3. Starborn can also be encountered flying ships in groups in outer space.
4. They will also appear during story missions - sometimes you will encounter them face to face, and sometimes while traveling in space.

Defeating Starborn

Starborn are dangerous opponents who often have high levels. So if you are just starting the game and you don't have to defeat these creatures, e.g. as part of a mission, we advise you to run away when you encounter them.

1. The temple guardians are easiest to defeat because they attack individually. When fighting them, rely on covers, use your best weapons and grenades, as well as your powers - Starborn are not immune or resistant to them. Be particularly careful when you confront them at night because of their camouflage ability. After killing the guard, you will always receive Quantum Essence, which increases the speed of power regeneration.
2. Battling Starborn in space is difficult because you have to fight several enemy ships. The best method is focus on one and use all the weapons you have. It's worth having automatic turrets on the ship when fighting Starborn. You will not receive any loot after destroying Starborn ships. Starborn machines have the ability to camouflage in space.
3. If you have to fight the Starborn and can't escape from them (during a mission), prepare as best as you can. Complete the side or faction quests beforehand to quickly gain new levels, stock up on many Med Packs and trauma packs, and also purchase better weapons and spacesuit. You can also search for more temples to gain new powers.
