Quest giver: Alvarez [#1] or Booze [#2]

This quest is part of: Steelbeard's Artefact

A short quest completed by talking to Admiral Alvarez on Antigua or Booze on Tacarigua. Use all dialogue options pertaining to Captain Steelbeard - in any order. Eventually you'll discover that the old pirate's artifact has been hidden in Garcia's chest (last seen on Caldera). Now you have find the treasure and obtain the magic item. Go to where you've begun the game and solve Captain Steelbeard's puzzle (see: Following Garcia's Trail).

Alvarez is a busy man - but you'll get to an understanding.

Note! This quest can also be completed if Captain Steelbeard's ghost reveals to you the location of his treasure (see: Talk to Steelbeard's Ghost). This option is only available if you haven't completed the Search Garcia's Possessions quest yet and on the Sword Coast have sided with the Natives.

Rewards:

• 500 Glory points for completing the quest.
