The Cave at the Pass | The Sword Coast - Quests

This quest is part of: The Natives

In the middle of the journey to the natives' village (see: Over the Pass), you and your companions will come across a cave [#1]. Steelbeard won't like it from the start, so before venturing inside he'll tell you to go check it out. He will patiently wait for your report; same as Patty, actually, who at that moment will leave your party.

Enter the cave and carefully proceed forward. At the end of a long corridor there is a group of enemies consisting of two Hunters and a Pirate. In order to complete the quest it's enough to see the enemies without letting them know of your presence. You can do it by sneaking up near the corner and carefully leaning out.

What hides inside the cave? Trouble - as usual.

When the quest is completed, go back to Steelbeard [#2] to tell him about what you've found. He will accept your account and begin the next part of the journey (see: Down into the Valley). Of course, before you report back you need to kill the enemies in the cavern - due to a large number of valuable items you can find in that makeshift camp, it's actually advisable.
