The Split Soul | Maracai Bay - Quests Risen 2 Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
You'll receive this quest from Bones [#1] in the Maracai Bay if you complete the Unwanted Sermon first. If so, ask the man why he thinks he's a dead person. Next, you should sail to the Isle of the Dead (see: The Water Temple) and find the Confused ghost there [#2]. You'll gain access to him only after drinking the Potion of false death (see: The Journey to the Underworld). In the spirit world, head for the Thief's Temple [#3] (one of key locations) and look for a man who looks exactly like Bones. He's the ghost you want to talk to.
Regardless of the chosen dialogue option, you'll eventually be able to free the spirit. As soon as you mention the white scarf (it's been mentioned by the real Bones), the spirit will instantly understand what's happened to it. This is when A Message From the World of the Living quest ends and another one begins - A Message from the Afterlife.
You can now go back to Bones [#4] and explain the situation to him. Go to the Altar of Transition [#5] and return to the realm of the living. When you talk to the doctor, he won't grasp the fact that he's no longer half-alive at first. Eventually, he'll accept the truth. Sadly, he'll still remain the irritating mad man preaching his boring sermons - apparently healing his soul hasn't healed him. There's nothing you can do about it, though - you can't heal Bones any more beyond that.
Since you've helped him out, the man will offer you his services. A skilled doctor will surely come in handy in your travels and the fight with Mara.
Rewards:
- 200 Glory points for completing the quest.
