This quest is part of: The Natives

Another part of the journey to the natives' village, the third in line. After leaving the cave (see: Farther Inland) Steelbeard [#1] will choose the safest route to the destination, thus activating the current quest.

For starters, you'll have two Claw Monkeys to take care of. Use the fact that you have companions at your side and, as tradition has it, let them take the burden of the fight. Enemies killed by your companions are rewarded with Glory points, so you don't even have to move.

The captain doesn't feel like visiting the valley, so he'll lead you over a pass.

After the fight you'll face a longer hike because Steelbeard will stop only at the entrance to a suspiciously looking cave [#2]. Don't worry, you'll be forced to check it out, but this is a place for another quest, The Cave at the Pass.

Rewards:

• 10 Glory points for completing the quest.
