Help Against Crow | The Sword Coast - Quests Risen 2 Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Quest giver: Captain Steelbeard [#1]
This quest is part of: The Titan Weapon
You receive this quest upon arriving at the Sword Coast. You're in for a hike through the jungle to get to a tower [#2] that rises above the area. Once you've killed the guards that were stationed there (quests: Talk to the Pirates at the Tower and Defeat the Lookouts at the Tower), have a chat with Captain Steelbeard and Patty. When you're ready to continue the journey (it's recommended to regenerate health in a bed), you and your companions can proceed forward. No matter which road you take (a few mini quests are involved), eventually you'll arrive at a port city - Puerto Isabella [#3]. Here you will learn about the fate of Captain Crow [#4], who has the sought-after Titan Harpoon. To make it to that cunning swashbuckler, though, you'll have to side with the Natives who live in the Shaganumbi village [#5] or with the Inquisition residing in the city [#3]. Once you've made your choice, you can't change it in any way, and it will affect subsequent quests until the end of the game - so take a moment to think about it!
Chani, Daughter of the Chieftain - the Natives' way. In order to gain the trust of the savages, you'll have to complete a lot of subquests they give you. Most of them rely on proving the courage and loyalty of the Nameless Hero - as a white man, he can't count on being respected too much amongst the native inhabitants of the jungle. Therefore, gaining that trust is quite problematic and largely depends on another quest - Free Tahana. During that quest you'll learn that Ranapiri [#5], one of the warriors from the village and a hunter at the same time, is concerned about the fate of his ward, Tahana [#6], who has been captured by the Inquisition. If you agree to help the Native, you'll need to go to the tower in which the prisoner is held. The key to the cell lies opposite the cell door, on the right of the small staircase, on the ground. When you use it to free the prisoner, you'll be forced to fight a guard. Afterwards, simply walk Tahana to the Natives' village (on the way you'll find the Shaganumbi idol required in The Ancestors' Blessing quest). All this will allow you to gain Chani's trust, thanks to whom you'll be able to prepare to face Crow. Once you've won the girl over and joined the Natives, the quest will be completed.
The Lookout's Report - the Inquisition's way. To complete this quest, meet with Venturo [#7] in front of the Shaganumbi village, and help him infiltrate it (see: Among Savages). When it's done, report back with the information you've obtained. The quest can now go two ways - you can either finish it immediately by reporting to Commandant Sebastiano [#8], or help Venturo eliminate pirates (see: Basil Is Dead!). Regardless if the choice, the mission ends the moment you join the Inquisition (having previously reported to Sebastiano).
