The Beast Is Dead | Maracai Bay - Quests

Go into the lake [#1] when you find it (even pirates can be wrong sometimes). If you stay in it for a few moments and move around, you'll be attacked by the fearsome Alligator, called the Beast. To kill it, use a shotgun or any other gun (melee combat isn't recommended), and the quest will be completed. If you'd like to increase your profits additionally, talk to the fisherman Hanu at the waterfront [#2] and tell him all about the fight.

Since Captain Hook, no pirate has a tendency to like alligators.

When you take the news of your victory to the Native, he'll give you a Treasure map (see: The Treasure on the Hunting Grounds). As you can see, by slaying the Beast you've earned the respect of the Maracai.

Rewards:

• 50 Glory points for completing the quest;
• 200 Glory points for killing the Beast.
