Lost in Translation | The Isle of Thieves - Quests Risen 2 Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Quest giver: Nuri [#1]
This quest is part of: Build a Raft
During your visit to the gnomes' village you'll sooner or later meet with Nuri - a funny little guy who unfortunately doesn't speak your language. Since he has three shirts required for the Build a Raft quest, you need to find a way to communicate with him. If you have Silver Tongue at least at 50, you can use the special dialogue option, but it won't help with anything. Regardless of whether you know the gnomes' language, or not, you're going to have to find something which will interest Nuri enough to trade the shirts for.
To find out what the little guy was all about, talk to the leader of the village - Kaan [#2]. When you explain the problem to him, he'll answer that the young gnome desires small, black, round objects. The description perfectly matches those of a black pearl. But the mean little fellow won't be satisfied with just any pearl - he wants the blackest of all pearls. Such rarity can only be bought from the tradesman Ulvi [#3] during The Lost Gnome quest. Have a chat with him to learn that his friend had gone missing somewhere on the beach [#4]. If you help the tradesman and save his close one from Threatening Giant Crabs, you'll be able count on his support.
The only thing you have to do is talk to the saved gnome (after disposing of the crabs, naturally - see: The Lost Gnome), take the Gnome's feather from him, and bring it to Ulvi. The Pitch-black pearl will be yours.
Now you only have to hand the newly obtained trinket to Nuri. When you do it, the quest will be over and you'll receive a shirt for the Build a Raft quest.
Note! If you completed The Lost Gnome quest before starting this one, it won't make any difference - the option to give the pearl to Nuri will simply appear straight away.
Rewards:
- 100 Glory points for completing the quest;
- Shirt;
- 100 Glory points for each Threatening Giant Crab killed.
