Another step in the journey to Puerto Isabella with Steelbeard and his daughter Patty. After reaching a fork in the road [#1] (see: Farther South) the pirate will ask you which way to go now. The quest begins when you choose to head for the coast or leave the choice to the captain. He will try to avoid the cave like the plague.

The last but one part of the journey ends at the wooden bridge.

Steelbeard will start on the path leading up, so do the same. During the hike you'll come across a Claw monkey, but it won't be a threat in your present company. When you reach the wooden bridge [#2], the quest will be completed and another one, the last of the batch series, will begin: The City Gate Is Not Far Off.
