Quest giver: Miles [#1]

This quest is part of: Water Barrels

A quick and simple quest. Go to the workers' camp by the water hole and meet with Butch [#2], who runs the whole operation. He won't be eager to help you out, forcing you to find an alternative solution to your problem.

If on the Sword Coast you have sided with the Natives, talk to Miles about Butch until you have an epiphany - possessing the supervisor (see: The Butch Puppet). To this end, cut some of his hair and go to the witch Emma [#3], who resides in the city.

Once again, magic is the key to success.

Buy the necessary ingredients from the witch and create a voodoo doll on the altar. Equip it, return to the workers' camp and possess Butch. In his body, force Miles to load water barrels on Captain Slayne's ship. At this moment, the quest ends.

After chasing Butch away, the workers will go back to work.

If on the Sword Coast you have sided with the Inquisition, talk to Miles about Butch to learn that the supervisor is very easy to trick. You'll have an idea to tell him about a treasure allegedly buried in a nearby cave [#4] (see: Down into the Cave). Inside, beat the man up (see: Give Butch a Thrashing). Afterwards, return to the workers and tell them to go back to work.
