Pure Luxury | Antigua - Quests Risen 2 Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Quest giver: Wilson [#1]
This quest is part of: The Cannon
The blacksmith Wilson isn't too eager to trade - he's afraid of violating the blockade (see: The Cannon). As it happens, though, the bearded fellow has the hots for a certain lady, who unfortunately keeps refusing him. Of course, the Nameless Hero can help the poor guy out, thus gaining his gratitude - and with it, the possibility of buying the cannons. If you don't feel like taking part in a shooting competition (see: The Pawned Pistol), you should pay a visit to the blacksmith's chosen.
The object of the blacksmith's desire is the most beautiful and dignified woman on the whole island - Grace [#2]. During the day you can find her outside the fort where Slayne lives, and at night on the square between the buildings. When you talk to her, she'll be outraged that a simpleton like Wilson dares to even bother her. You have to persuade her that the old guy isn't so bad. Don't offer to buy her charms - she'll get mad and the quest will be cancelled!
Regardless of what diplomatic skills you possess, the situation can be resolved only by giving her a bribe of 1000 Gold (she'll suggests it herself, don't push the topic!). If you're charming enough, you can persuade her to cut the amount by half (requires Silver Tongue at 60) - so as not to make too much of a loss.
Note! Completing this mission does not exclude completing The Pawned Pistol - you can do both, thus gaining more experience points.
Rewards:
- 100 Glory points for completing the quest.
