Quest giver: Akando [#1]

This quest is part of: The Skull Sceptre

This quest is received from Akando - the thief you'll meet outside the Thief's Temple. Talk to him to learn of his sad fate - he is stuck in the world of the undead until someone robs him. There is a chest is his house (difficulty level at 60) which holds the White diamond. If someone steals it, the old thief will be free to leave.

Can you handle it?

There are two ways to open the chest. If you have Lockpicking at least at 60, use the lock pick to open the lock. If not, you can ask Nahele [#2] to make a special key. The woman needs gold to melt it - you'll need to hand her 300 Gold, then. If you do it, you'll receive the key and the problem will be solved.

When you open the chest and take the White diamond, you'll complete the Akando's Chest quest. If you talk to the thief again, he'll let you keep the finding, and disappear. This way you'll complete the present quest and be free to conclude the main one - The Skull Sceptre.
