STALKER 2: Difficulty levels
STALKER 2 is a challenging game that does not forgive mistakes. From this guide page you will learn all about the game's difficulty levels and how to switch between them.
Last update:
The original STALKER trilogy offered players a unique and challenging experience due to its high level of difficulty. The latest installment of the series follows in these footsteps. However, if you feel the need to adjust your experience, there are several difficulty levels to choose from. Below we present all the information about them.
What are the difficulty levels?
When starting a new game in STALKER 2, you can choose one of three difficulty levels:
- Beginner - intended for players less experienced with the series and those who are primarily interested in the story. Opponents require less shots to be defeated, they are less observant, and Skif is able to withstand more damage.
- Stalker - default difficulty level balancing the gameplay and the story. It offers a pleasant challenge for people familiar with the series.
- Veteran - a difficulty level for players looking for a very demanding experience. The opponents are very perceptive and tough. Here, the Zone does not forgive mistakes.
Can you change the difficulty level?
If at any stage of the game you find that the chosen difficulty level does not suit you, you can change it without any problems. Go to the Settings in the pause menu. In the first tab described as Game, scroll down to the Difficulty Level option, and then select the level that interests you.
After saving the settings, they will be implemented immediately.
