STALKER 2: A Long Overdue Visit

During the short quest A Long Overdue Visit you will end up in the modern SIRCAA institute, where Doctor Dalin conducts his experiments. This page of the guide explains what to pay attention to during this quest and where to go after handing the scanner to the scientist.

First visit to SIRCAA

The quest A Long Overdue Visit will begin as soon as you arrive at the gates of SIRCAA. After a short conversation, the guards at the entrance will let you go further.

Cross the bridge and courtyard leading to the entrance. In the main lobby, Dalin will greet you and take the scanner from you. In return, you will receive an access card to the scientist's private quarters, where Skif will be able to rest.

Go further into the building. You can look at the exhibits located here. We also recommend visiting the dining room (next to the large windows). You can pick up a considerable supply of food and energy drinks there.

Once you've explored the area, head to the elevator opposite the windows onto the courtyard. You activate it using the card you received earlier.

When you go up the hill, you can still wander around Dalin's apartment. Once you have seen everything you are interested in, interact with the bed in the bedroom.

Conversation with Dalin

After a night's rest, head to the elevator. Go down to the ground floor.

Turn left in the hall. Enter the large, glass-walled office.

Wait until Dalin finishes his speech. Talk to him.

The scientist will reveal the plans related to further research of the Zone and upcoming experiments. When the announcement of the incident in the lab comes over the loudspeakers, Dalin will send you on a mission to investigate it. The questA Long Overdue Visit will come to an end.
