STALKER 2: All endings
STALKER 2 has several different endings. From this page of the guide, you will learn which choices to make to get your preferred ending.
Last update:
STALKER 2 is a game with an extensive narrative. Depending on the player's decision, Skif's story can end in one of four ways. On this guide page, we inform which choices during the game matter and what decisions lead to which endings.
WARNING! This page contains spoilers for all STALKER 2 endings.
Which decisions matter?
Although in STALKER 2 you make a lot of minor decisions, only the last three decisions made in the main storyline have a direct impact on the ending.
- During the Subtle Matter mission, you have to decide whether you will join the Sparks faction (the "Eternal spring" option), or oppose Scar and his people (the "Life is for the living" option). Choosing the second option will make the members of Spark hostile towards you, and at the end of the game you will have to fight Scar.
- During the Dangerous Liaisons mission, you decide whether you want to join forces with the Ward ("I'm not your enemy" option), or perhaps you would prefer to oppose the faction (escape option). If you chose the second option, in the following missions you will fight Lieutenant Korshunov.
- The last decision will be the one related to killing Kaymanov in The Last Wish mission. Killing the Doctor will lead you to Strelok's ending, while sparing him will force you to fight the aforementioned Legend of the Zone.
Kaymanov's ending
In the epilogue of this path, Skif enters the capsule and connects with the noosphere. Kaymanov's dream of a free Zone is being realized. Here are things you should (or should not) do to get this ending:
- Choose the option "Life is for the living" to oppose Scar.
- Try to escape from Lieutenant Korshunov and the Ward.
- Oppose Strelok by sparing the Doctor's life.
Strelok's ending
Faithful to the Zone, Strelok connects with the noosphere to separate it from the outside world. He is ready to fight anyone who threatens it or tries to control it. Here are things you should (or should not) do to get this ending:
- Choose the option "Life is for the living" to oppose Scar.
- Try to escape from Lieutenant Korshunov and the Ward.
- Kill Doctor Kaymanov.
Spark's ending
Scar enters the capsule, thus fulfilling Spark's vision of the luminous Zone. The idyllic reality, however, turns out to be just a deceptive illusion. To get this ending, you have to:
- Work with Spark and Scar by choosing the "Eternal spring" dialogue option.
- Try to escape from Lieutenant Korshunov and the Ward.
The paths of Spark and Ward generally do not have a mission in which we have to decide the fate of Kaymanov.
Ward's ending
Lieutenant Korshunov enters the capsule and connects with the Noosphere. The entire Zone is taken over by the military, and Agatha takes the lead in research on new technology. For his merits, Skif receives a new apartment. To get this ending, you must:
- Choose the option "Life is for the living" and oppose Scar.
- Agree to cooperate with the Ward and choose the option "I'm not your enemy".
