STALKER 2: How to get the Drowned rifle?

The Drowned is a very decent rifle that you can find early on in STALKER 2. On this guide page, we inform where you can find it and what consequences you may face for appropriating the weapon belonging to a young stalker.

Where to find the Drowned rifle?

After completing the Behind Seven Seals mission, you will gain access to the Garbage region. In its central part there is a small settlement called Slag Heap.

As you first approach the southern path to Slag Heap, you will cross a bridge. There you'll meet a worried young stalker named Boo. During the conversation he will tell you that he lost his weapon in the nearby ditch. Agree to help in the search.

Turn left (towards the water pond) and jump off the bridge. The lost weapon is found just at the shore.

The Drowned has pretty decent stats. However, before use, it will be necessary to repair it by a technician, as the rifle is in a terrible state.

Talk to Boo:

1. You can return him the rifle. You will not receive any reward for this other than a thank you.
2. The alternative is to tell the stalker that you are keeping the Drowned. Apart from a few hateful words, there are no consequences for doing this.
