STALKER 2: The Last Wish
The Last Wish is the penultimate mission of STALKER 2. From this page you will learn what to do with Doctor Kaymanov and how to get to Strelok in the Red Fortress.

During the mission The Last Wish, Skif will once again visit Dr. Kaymanov's hut, where he will make an important decision that will affect the future of the Zone. On this solution page, we will show you what consequences your decisions carry, as well as how to reach the final stage of the game.

Order from Strelok
The Last Wish mission is exclusive to Strelok's and Kaymanov's path. You can do it if you previously rejected cooperation with Spark (the "Life is for the living" option) and the Ward (the escape option).
The Last Wish mission will start immediately after completing the Down Below mission. During the conversation, Strelok will order you to kill his former companion - Doctor Kaymanov.
Take and put on the armor from the safe (unless your current one offers better protection). You should also use this opportunity to repair equipment and replenish ammunition.
When you are ready, approach Richter. The guide will immediately take you to Kaymanov's hut in the Red Forest. Enter the dome.
Kill or spare Kaymanov?
After the conversation with Kaymanov, you will face the final choice that will determine your ending:
- By taking a shot, Skif will kill Doctor Kaymanov, which will directly lead you to Strelok's ending.
- By lowering the weapon, the protagonist will ignore Strelok's command. This will direct you to the Doctor's ending, but at the same time it will force you to fight legendary Strelok in the next mission.
In our walkthrough, we decided to spare Kaymanov.
During the upcoming emission, Kaymanov will force Skif to hide in the basement. He himself will stay outside.
After watching the cut-scene, head to the doctor's office. Tear off the curtain from the wall at the end of the room and enter the hollowed-out corridor.
Take the cartridge from the desk, and then return to Richter.
Kaymanov's memories
Skif, along with the guide, will once again end up in the underground of the Orbita station. Install the cartridge in the control room, then enter the capsule.
After watching the sequence with Kaymanov's memories, talk to Richter again. This time he will take you to the Red Fortress.
How to get to the top of the Red Fortress?
Head towards the building with Richter. You will be stopped by a unit of Monoliths.
After the fight is over, wounded Richter will send you further alone. Say goodbye to your companion and head towards the scaffolding next to the Fortress.
Climb up the next floors of the scaffolding, defeating the enemies you encounter along the way, avoiding anomalies and jumping over abysses.
On the roof, you will encounter a strong Monolith unit. Defeat the enemies, then climb up to the last floor.
Strelok will be waiting for you behind the helicopter wreckage. After the cut-scene, the mission will end.
