HDR not Working in Stalker 2. The Zone Is Too Dark For Many Players
It seems that gamers have problems with HDR in Stalker 2. While some report that it does not working, others state that their game is too dark.
Stalker 2 is a good game – our review proves that. However, at the same time, the newest installment of the Stalker series is also a buggy one (our tech review shows that clearly). While issues with performance or shader compilation are quite common in other games too, there are also more unique ones. For example, in the new GSC Game World’s production, there are HDR issues. Some players can’t turn it on, others can’t see a thing.
HDR Not Working in Stalker 2
It seems that some players can’t turn on HDR. In our case, it works exclusively in fullscreen (no window). It is not ideal, though. Our colleague Mikolaj reported that this feature faded his game (or made it “milky”, as he stated himself). So, even if you turn it on, you might not have the best result. Is HDR even worth it?
Stalker 2 Is Too Dark
Numerous people believe that the game is too dark. It seems that the root of the problem (at least partially) is in HDR itself. Turning it off should help you. However, keep in mind that Stalker 2 was designed as a dark game, especially in the sewers. They are created to force you to use your flashlight. So, turn it on the whole time.
Of course, if the game is too dark in your case, you might want a hand in finding things. You know what? We have prepared Stalker 2 Guide. You will probably find it quite useful, especially thanks to our interactive map. Check out it below, for the bigger resolution, visit our site. Good luck in the Zone Stalkers.
