Reaching Katsu's ship

1. The described boss fight is part of the main mission Meeting Kaishu Katsu, which you will start in chapter 2 in the Edo region.
2. The mentioned quest involves using a fireworks display to infiltrate a guarded area with ships moored on the Sumida River. Ultimately, you need to reach the largest ship shown in the picture. You will find a banner there to save progress and replenish supplies. After using the grappling rope, you will reach the main deck of the ship and trigger the duel with Kaishu.

Description of the boss fight

1. Kaishu has a rope that allows him to use long-range attacks.
2. Another type of long-range attacks is throwing bombs and if you have a revolver ready, you can detonate the flying bomb instead of dodging it.

1. The boss likes to use series of quick attacks. There is a great opportunity to perform a series of parries and deplete the boss's ki bar faster, to then land a critical hit on him.
2. As usual, watch out for the red attacks, which can include a charge performed from a long distance and an attempt to grab the hero. In the second case, the boss can then kick and perform an additional attack with a melee weapon.
3. Kaishu won't die. On the contrary - he will become your ally later in the campaign and you will unlock a personal bond with him.
